Thousands of School Kids Introduced to Tennis at an Early Age
Following are some examples of successful FAST Tennis School Programs:
Blessed Sacrament School, Kentucky
A grade school league program which introduced 156 players to tennis. This was held at a local club with 6 traditional tennis courts that were sized down to fit age 10 and under red ball courts. Parents were extremely happy with the amount of fun and interest the kids experienced.
Sycamore Elementary Schools, Ohio
This “Pizza and Tennis” night brought close to 200 kids to enjoy themselves. They played tennis as well as other activities. Over half of these kids went on to participate in after school “Kids Club” at the schools. School administrators and particularly gym teachers were responsible for the success of the program.
St. Columban, Ohio
With great parent ambassadors, sign up night was held at the school. Over 100 kids played tennis for the first time in a Grade School league held off site at a local club.
Cincinnati Country Day
As part of the physical education and life skill building mission of the school, FAST Tennis has an in school program. FAST Tennis delivered daily instruction and matchplay in the gym, and young players are continuing in the summer on the school’s outdoor courts.
Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy (CHCA)
A CHCA grade school FASTTennis league was introduced in 2015. Dozens of kids wanted to continue playing, so with the help of other schools, we started the first ever F.A.S.T. Middle School League.
